BA-KAW!

So we decided to go out for a little bit tonight and we met my sister Laura and some of her friends at a sports bar/restaurant to watch the Cardinals play-off game. For some reason, I remembered in the back of my mind that my friend Colleen liked this bar and I invited her along. I still have no idea how I remembered that, I'm pretty sure that she only mentioned it once when we were talking about where to watch a World Cup game. Anyway, as we are leaving, Colleen tells me that she has something for me in her car. We walk outside and a minute later Colleen presents me with the biggest Get Well Soon/Kick Cancer's Butt card that I have ever seen. Immediately I get teary eyed and I can't even read it all in that moment because I'm just too emotional. It's from Colleen and all my teammates and friends, lots of pictures and messages. It's like we were meant to see each other tonight.
